In early February, Sunny House invited a local Chinese calligraphy teacher to the residence to write fai chun for students in celebration of the Year of the Horse. There were five blessings to choose from, each carrying a fun and lucky New Year message:

In addition to the giveaway, Sunny House also set up a "Welcome Spring, Receive Blessings" DIY counter, which ran for three days. With brushes, ink, and paper all provided, students were free to get creative and write their own unique fai chun. The vibe was relaxed and fun – with works ranging from traditional calligraphy to modern, creative styles.
